A Victorian Autopsy & Forensic Profiling Puzzle
London, Autumn 1888. The fog thickens.
Victim: Mary Ann Nichols
Location: Buck's Row, Whitechapel
"A ghastly murder was committed in Whitechapel early yesterday morning... The throat was cut from ear to ear."
Found in a dark alley with severe neck wounds. The first canonical victim. We must dissect and trace the incision pattern.
In the autumn of 1888, Whitechapel lay in the grip of unparalleled dread. Five women fell victim to the shadow that stalked the fog-shrouded streets. Then, as abruptly as they had begun, the killings ceased. The killer slipped back into the East End fog, never to be identified.
